Kennebunkport Designer Showhouse
Just in... Maine's Channel 6 "207" show broadcasts a terrific segment on the showhouse. Some might say that tj's stole the show.
The Kennebunkport Historical Society's Designer Show House at Rocky Pastures, the former Kenneth Roberts estate in Kennebunkport. This is the first time this historic home will be opened to the public. Jerry Rippetoe and Tony Sienicki have been selected to design Robert's Study at this prestigious event.
Architect Frazier Forman Peters built Rocky Pastures for Kenneth Roberts in 1938. Near the picturesque Ocean Avenue, Roberts lived here while he wrote his popular historical fiction novels--work that won him a Pulitzer in 1957 in the Special Awards and Citations category. tj's is thrilled to honor the literary heritage of this room with their unique vision of a gentleman-scholar's study.
